Yes PanAm did offer large opulent seating space in coach/economy but this was a BOEING promo picture from a mockup so that airlines who had placed an order for the 747-100 could specify how they wanted their cabins designed. Note the different shading on the bulkheads, and different colours on the seat fabric.
