White tigers/lions to occur in nature but they are killed or left to die by the mothers because it makes it impossible for them to hunt. So, you will not see a adult white tiger or lion roaming in nature. We get so many of these creatures through inbreeding. Tigers and Lions do not exist on the same continent (yes, there is a very small population of lions in India in a preserve) so these animals are bread to create ligers or tigons. They usually die very young and have mental issues. These are not rare cats, they are man made.
