In /fact/ I looked into this closer, and it looks like about 52 people who live in London get stabbed the eye every *year.* this is a reasonable number because murder, a much more common crime, occurs an average of once or twice a day in London.

THIS IS FAKE I did the math--there are 86400 seconds per day, meaning if an eye stabbing happens every 52 seconds there would be per day, times 365 is 606,461 EYE STABBINGS EVERY YEAR THAT'S 13% OF LONDON'S POPULATION!
