As a microbiology major, I can tell you now that this is inaccurate and stupid because the only way to get those combination of colours on a single Petri dish would be to stain bacteria different colours and mix them up. So essentially you're just looking at die for the purposes of pretty colours. Bacteria very rarely come in these majestic colours
