I have seen these live...in AZ..they are big and green, then they dry and the wind takes them on their travels...same in WA..green in spring....TUMBLEWEEDS...go back to the 40's for the song 'Tumbling Tumbleweeds'.. A western song...Gene Autrey or maybe Roy Rogers??....still popular for old country song lovers...
