Don't worry heart77, he won't. He's there because he is trying to get attention towards his party. This process is known as 'forming a base' where they get the really cuckoo people in the US to vote for that 'party' and then the party will choose someone else.
He is essentially publicity.
We are learning about the American system here in my Aussie high school :)
