There is a court official (I believe in Georgia? Could be wrong.) who is refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples. In previous years, there was nothing we could do about that. However, because it is now the law in the U.S., she MUST award marriage licenses to same-sex couples. She is refusing. That's illegal. Make sense?

That's the point. Many of the U.S.'s wealthiest are given tax breaks. This is arguing against that, and I wholeheartedly agree with it.

"minimum wage is for high school"?????
you make it sound like there are boatloads of well-paying jobs available to people in their late-teens/early twenties (the demographic that makes up MOST of college attendance.) when in fact, there aren't. The options are minimum wage. Maybe a dollar more here or there, but mostly minimum wage.

Fun Fact!
There is an organization based in the u.s., but operates worldwide, called Food Not Bombs. They use food that would be otherwise discarded by stores and restaurants (so it doesn't affect the sales of the business in any way, shape, or form). They obtain the food with permission from the business they work with. They use food that is not bad or rotted, simply past its sell-by date, and provide a FREE meal to the community in which the Food Not Bombs chapter is working with. Look them up online. Just Google "food not bombs" and see of they have a local chapter in your area!
