"Here was one with an air of high nobility such as Aragorn at times revealed, less high perhaps, yet also less incalculable and remote: one of the Kings of Men born into a later time, but touched with the wisdom and sadness of the Eldar Race. He knew now why Beregond spoke his [Faramir's] name with love. He was a captain that men would follow, that he would follow, even under the shadow of the black wings." - JRR Tolkien, 'Return of the King', on Faramir
That is why Faramir is my favourite character. Quiet and frowned upon by his father, but shrewd and compassionate.

Quick correction!
Aragorn has Dunedain heritage, and is indeed thus tall; however, he is only 6'6", not 7'. The Dunedain are descendants of the Numenorians, whose men were very tall (their largest warriors were all in the 7' range). On average, however, men of the west were around 6', much akin to the Netherlands of today. Tall, yes, but not gigantic or even extraordinary.

Imagine how many philosophical musings and ponderings this gentleman must have every day, just sitting there for hours.
And sunburn.

Nah. I have the utmost respect for women serving in the armed forces, but I believe this particular news item caters to a mildly feminist tone. I doubt they shudder with fear when they "hear women's voices." They would treat them with the same contempt as a man.

"Crap, guys! We are under fire from snipers!"
"Oh no... Women?"
"... No. U.S Marines; men."
"Ah, cool. Carry on as per usual guys. Their bullets are fine." *Arm gets shot off* "Yup. Nothing but a flesh wound. Still not going to hell. All is well." *Head gets blown off*

Unpopular Opinion: As downright awesome as Kakashi is... Had it not been for Naruto and Sasuke, Zabuza would have killed Kakashi.

"Lagasa" was likely intentional. It's a reference to an old meme not many people would recognize. On YouTube, search for 'Garfielf' (exactly that) - it is a (formerly) viral video with over a million views.

I have no agreement with the man (I am not even American), but Trump is surprisingly tall.
