If you just focus on Europe I guess. And maybe for recent centuries. But go back far enough and it becomes clear that world history doesn't revolve around Europe... so much of our history lies in Asia and Africa as well... though I will say the Mediterranean area
played a large part.

I almost never appear mad to other people, because when I become angry I don't actually want to be mean or hurt anyone, so I internalize it and then suddenly I'm just empty and sad.

You can grow to become attracted to someone. A person can be placed in the friendzone originally because of lingering feelings for someone else that then fade, not being in the right place for a relationship at the time, wanting to know a person well before starting any more serious relationship (wanting a firm foundation of at least LIKING someone before jumping head first physically) or any number of reasons. I think people simplify the "friendzone" to mean "she wants a nice guy - I'm a nice guy - why doesn't she want me" when each person has a back story, feelings, history. Sometimes things change, sometimes they don't. Sometimes it has to do with physical attraction. Sometimes it doesn't. A girl isn't a bitch for friendzoning someone, a guy isn't a douche that feels entitled to sex by simply wanting to leave the friendzone - but with communication, even if nothing changes, by respecting the other person's humanity and well-being I think this whole "friendzone" thing would work out
