I think it actually is both. She is Luke's daughter and Obi-Wan's granddaughter. Luke married Obi-Wan's daughter. But that is absolutely a guess. But it allows you to do the obvious choice and still have a pretty awesome reveal that won't be seen from a mile away.

Yeah, idris Elba would be #1. But Tom Hardy would fantastic as Bond, as well.

Let's not forget the Empire was based on the Third Reich, which I suppose makes the First Order like a Neo-Nazi movement.
