I think that just because you are nice to someone,that doesn't obligate them to date you.I've been "friendzoned" but at least I found out early that nothing was going to happen between us,so It was easier to move on.Guys use it more often.Being polite and kind to a guy/girl doesn't mean that he/she has to be your boyfriend/girlfriend if she doesn't want to.Especially if you don't make your intention clear from the start.
