i wouldn't mind. it's the "she was a man" instead of "she is a woman" mentality that the LGBT+ movement is still working to break through, so no, i wouldnt mind dating a woman

Wife dropped the bi-curious bombshell on me 21 comments
guest · 9 years ago
Well, I don't know all the details of course, but being bi-curious doesn't mean that she's actually seeing other women. She's attracted to men but that doesn't mean that she has had sex with every man in existence.

this is good. everyone should see this because the racism problem is the result of an "us vs them" mentality instead of an "all of us vs our understanding" mentality

Could someone explain this in detail? 13 comments

however, most grecoroman technology was preserved by the Byzantine and Islamic scholars, (hence the Rennaisance; if the technology had entirely disappeared, it wouldve taken far longer to regain it. so strictly in terms of technology, not much would have changed, but politically and ecinomically, the world would probably be a far different place. sincerely a guest trying to be helpful

Religious wars explained 14 comments

Most religions as well as atheism just have the same message; "dont be a dick" so whats the point in being a dick to people who have different beliefs? All it is is a different set of rewards and consequences that depend on how much of a dick a person is. :/

Most read books in the world...What's your favorite? 40 comments
guest · 9 years ago
also, for a few hundred years, it was the only (or one of the few) mass-produced book, not to mention, when the printing press was invented in europe, the roman catholic church had a monopoly on religion, so practically everyone was roman catholic, which creates a high demand for the bible. i thought the quaran or the writings of confucious (yes, i know confucianism is a philosiphy, not a religion) would be up there for similar reasons, but i suppose no.0t.

But Constantinople was the capitol of the Byzantine empire after the schism of Christianity, and so wasnt truly "roman". the western roman empire fell in 476CE (AD) (yes, the roman catholic church made the "holy roman empire" but it was not holy nor roman nor an empire so let's not count that)

Yes. Typically males are more vibrant to draw predators away from females (at least while the females are cardyings eggs but it changes depending on species)

Celebrities have the money 14 comments

Well usually the celeb who's promoting it donates, but sometimes charities just hire them for publicity... in that case they're just reading a script, so they really have no obligation to donate.... (and now we wait for the tsunami of downvotes)

No it's mostly saying "if you're single, you're smart" but people should be comofrtable being single without some tumblr post telling them that it's due to a trait they may have (whether positive or not)
