Well, I don't know all the details of course, but being bi-curious doesn't mean that she's actually seeing other women. She's attracted to men but that doesn't mean that she has had sex with every man in existence.

also, for a few hundred years, it was the only (or one of the few) mass-produced book, not to mention, when the printing press was invented in europe, the roman catholic church had a monopoly on religion, so practically everyone was roman catholic, which creates a high demand for the bible. i thought the quaran or the writings of confucious (yes, i know confucianism is a philosiphy, not a religion) would be up there for similar reasons, but i suppose no.0t.
