Yep, I had that happen. Luckily the newer cars has AAA free for 2 years and a hidden key inside the remote key. Then he charged the hidden battery in the car in hatch back area and charged long enough to get to dealership to get new battery. Pretty helpless. Manual was read, but couldn't get in at first to review it. Finally found manually key in remote.
