That’s where discipline comes in. I have major depression, I’ve been hospitalized, but i live alone. I put on my big girl panties and prep for my bad days. That’s meals, medications, wipes, tissues, and recognizing that even though I do not want to leave my bed I can at least do it and not worry about extra stuff. Depression takes practice.

Doing something else, and being engaged in that activity and forgetting to, or simply not getting the chance to check your phone doesn’t mean you’re ignoring anyone. You’re just doing normal human activities. If someone can’t go 4 hours without hearing from you that’s a problem

First off, as a 59 year old, let me apologize for the @$$#0€$ of my generation. But, let me also say that I'm pretty sure you'd consider me a good tipper. I don't tip less than a buck, even on a dollar coffe because taking your order and keeping the coffee cup refilled has got to be worth more than 15 cents. On meals, I always calculate 15% then round up to the next major increment for average service, more for good to exceptional service.
