Wow. Can you just take a moment and realize how blessed you are? I come from a family that couldn't afford to waste food, an expiry date had no say in what we ate, unless it gave us a discount

Most things that expire, usually just loose potency (of the vitamins and minerals), other things with best before dates are usually fine for a while afterwards providing there's no mold growing or other obviously non edible shit (curdled milk). Best before and expiry dates are really just suggestions.

In Canada we also get the grad hat, u know, it's black with a meanin less square on top, usually you'll get a dangley thing with the years on it too!
