I workat a place that insures mostly delivery buisnesses. First, we dont insure anyone in florida. We only had a little bit of buisness from there, but more than half of our losses were coming from there. The drivers would just hit pedestrians. I dont know how buisnesses in florida get insurance now. Second, the entire industry other than a few companies collapsed. This was largely due to people not checking the driving records and rampant undercutting of prices. Alot of brokers that send the clients to insurers dont even know how to pull the driving records to check them.

Honestly I don't think they're going to try and replace Fortnite. Apex Legends feels like it was made by Respawn people who saw the battle royale genre emerge and went "whoa, that's awesome and has given me a ton of creative inspiration, I wanna make one!" rather than by EA people who went "whoa, that's a lot of people, we need to capture them all so we can get their money!" Apex Legends doesn't want to be the best Fortnite or take Fortnite's playerbase, they're happy to just provide variety in the genre and show that there can be more than one "best game" in a genre.

Worked at a zoo for a few years and they fucked me over on my pay slip I left, I can also say that 95% of animal deaths at said zoo where caused by employees their, we'd just tell the media that oh yeah 8 yrs for a red panda is a long life when in fact most zoos red pandas can usually reach 15, that's just one of the few animals we've had pass multiple times and then forged age numbers

Maybe I don't speak for all teachers when I say this, but at my school, we teachers are practically throwing points at students who do their work. You wrote your name at the top of a worksheet and did one problem out of 10? Sounds like a 50 to me! You got half the questions wrong but still completed the entire homework assignment? 70! Teachers can give as many points as they want for assignments, but the one thing we can't do is give points for work that hasn't been attempted or turned in. All we can give for that is a zero.

The issue is about balance. Yeah, the CEO makes more because he is responsible for more, but he could shave an almost imperceptible amount of his salary and it would profoundly impact the pay of employees.
Also, just want to point out, in half a day, he is earning more than the employee will earn in an entire year.

I would love to see Idris Elba as James Bond. First of all, he's such a terrific actor, he played already two total Icons in the grey area between crime and law (Stringer Belle and Luther), he's super sexy (I'm a heterosexual man and that's what I see) and he's got the natural elegance and relaxed dominance a Bond needs. And then also I'd love to see all those triggered crackerheads implode, as they couldn't even try to rationalize their bigotry and hatred, cause he'd be just fucking perfect. So much winning

Furthermore, if there are guests over and he doesn’t volunteer to clean with you.... then he’s an ass. Even if there HAD been guests coming over, leaving your fiancé to do all the work while you sit on your ass is a dick move. The lying and manipulation is just the cherry on top of the asshole sundae. Exactly because I feel like some of their fears are rooted in rational or at least understandable conclusions (there IS a big pharma, doctors don’t always have your best interests, the human impulse of fear is greater than the desire for reward, etc etc), and I’d like to understand why people become antivaxxers in order to understand how to combat it. Ideally ex-antivaxxers who know how they fell into that mindset and what changed it specifically. Because obviously us shouting facts at them isn’t working.
