This is the first time I've heard it called 'ding-dong ditched', finding it sort of hilarious haha. Where I am we call it 'knock and run'

He tells the truth, except it was eight legs. If you look in the first Thor movie, Odin arrives riding on an eight-legged horse, which means that at some time before the movie, Loki had...done the deed.
