Actually, some people are so concerned, they get offended FOR people of another group. Post a joke about a certain race or sexual preference *on a joke site,* and be prepared--not for people from that group to be offended--but for others to get offended *for* them.

What profound Asian wisdom. Too bad the Jews and Christians never came up with something like that.

So Obama managed to take the highest award given to a civilian and make that is meaningless as the Nobel peace prize he won for "what he was *going* to do."

Interestingly enough, everybody's laughing about "what two people do in bed," and yet among that same group they're all incredibly aghast when some guy cheats on his girlfriend. "That's so TERRIBLE," they say, while telling everyone else not to be judgmental.

The belief I find the weirdest is the one that thinks that first, there was nothing, then matter spontaneously came into existence. There was no life, but enough of the right chemicals were in proximity to a lightning bolt, so single-cell life was generated by coincidence. Then, with no guidance or design, things moved from a low state of order to a higher stater of order (single cell life-->mammals-->intelligent life). I mean, when in life do things become *more* organized simply by coincidence? "Oh, it might violate the second law of thermodynamics," they say, "but over billions of years it somehow works out." These "believers" claim to follow the Scientific Method, but can't point to a single *observed* example of this "changing to a higher order" in actual life. I mean, how can these people expect to be taken seriously?

And even though it's petty and rude to Trump and his supporters and his non-supporters who have decided to give him a chance, he deserves it because Trump is so divisive. I mean, look at all the violent anti-Trump protests. That guy is SUPER divisive.

In the second picture you have to confiscate the box that the taller person brought to give it to the shorter person. That sounds good to all the socialists but it really sucks when somebody's taking your stuff to give to someone else. In the third one you're stealing the right of the baseball players to earn a living by selling tickets to their performance. In reality after the government has to account for the overhead and salaries of the people in charge of re-distributing everything, it would really only have two boxes to distribute among the three people after all.

Yes, that's great how the current generation doesn't get offended at everything, especially things that don't affect them but they could get offended n behalf of others. <eye roll>.

A lot of those vaccines are from the 1950s and later. If someone compared numbers from 1700s Europe where people threw their sh!t in the street, I'd say you might have a point. But, sewers and clean water were around in the 1950s. Also, if you were looking at life expectancy, other improvements would have contributed. But this is cases of specific diseases before and after their vaccines. Having clean water doesn't make polio go to zero, and having flush toilets doesn't affect reduce Hepatitis to post-vaccine levels. If you knew what you were arguing against--life expectancy vs actual cases of specific diseases--you wouldn't have embarrassed yourself.

Notice that in the original post it doesn't say "I heard that…" But it says "I remember..."
So somebody "remembers" this falsehood as being true. That seems more dangerous than just believing everything you hear.

The problem is, you can't redefine black culture from the outside. If anything, black culture drives the larger US culture: Wearing pants that sag to your knees, calling everyone "nigga," being super showy for everyday/unspectacular achievements, etc.

Actually lots of experience...just in business, meeting a payroll, salesmanship...not so much experience in confiscating money from the unwilling via taxes to reallocate to those groups whose votes he wants to obtain, but that's not all bad.

One rational reason to pay some people more than others is that they do a better job. Of course we can't possibly consider that that could be true in some cases.

The existence of archangels implies the existence of a God who created them which means that there is a heaven. That guy looks pretty pretty miserable alive, so dying & actually having an angel take him to heaven would be a better alternative than continued life as it is.

Plus, Japan had civilians mobilized to resist the impending US invasion of the Japanese mainland. The planners counted on hundreds of thousands of American soldiers dead and millions of Japanese soldiers and civilians dead. That was to end the war that *Japan started* by bombing Peral Harbor.
It looks like whoever drew the cartoon is either ignorant of the facts, willingly ignored them, or believes that if someone starts a war with you, you should fight only half-assedly, sending your soldiers to die but not actually try to win and end the conflict.
