Ken he just leave her alone already? 8 comments

It's far darker. 52 mirrors- the kind of thing a guy would own if he knew he needed to look perfect every second of every day, if at no point he could be allowed to ever lapse. 36 slick surfer moves for a guy who's primary passions are surfing and skating for the last at least 30 years? Barbie is a lawyer, dr, actress, politician, royalty, astronaut, celebrity, and more. Almost anything she doesn't own is named after her. In their world to the meta world she is all powerful. Everything exists to validate and please her and that which doesn't is removed or "modified" to fit her world. Barbie changes looks and jobs constantly and all around her must change their lives too or be forgotten. Ken lives in fear. He exists only as barbies boyfriend. His 36 surf moves show you he has no time for self development beyond her whims. She demands perfection in looks and character. He knows this, but his lack of articulated joints and low ASVABS mean he can't even join Gijoe. So he's stuck in hell.

Too bad that the depreciation curve on new cars is such that the second it leaves the lot you can lose 10-30% value easily. Then there's tax paid on The $200k, title, registration, and likely insurance. You'll likely need to transport them as well. Assuming the factory warranty is transferable, and you can provide the same buying experience and convenient service of an exotic dealer, that still limits your stock to 3 cars with only the options, colors, and packages you selected, and you can't offer the customization of the dealer. In the high end market convenience, choice, and pedigree trump price. If you could do something like this with mid range economy cars though you could likely make profit.

Or perhaps... For all the effort, luck, skill, and guile that would go into a crime that was never known- the perfect crime isn't that. Perhaps the perfect crime is the one where the perpetrator blatantly breaks the law, either in clear view of the everyone or with everyone knowing that is the case. Perhaps the perfect crime is the one where the criminal knows before hand that they will get away Scott free or near Scott free with little or no effort to even try and hide the crime. Perhaps we see the perfect crime everyday as rich bankers and corrupt politicians and connected socialites embezzle and defraud, rape and manslaughter, do drugs, etc. and we all know about it yet they know they can do it on camera for the rest of their lives and breath easy. So maybe the perfect crime is the one we all know about already.

Nuclear weapons posses a yield thousands of times greater than the biggest conventional bombs. The yield of all known atomic tests in history is greater than the total conventional explosive (bombs) estimated used in ww2 by a wide margin and consider how relatively few nuclear tests their have been in comparison to even a single ww2ads bombing by numbers. Radiation is of course a byproduct of nukes but one that gets too much focus in public perception. While nuclear weapons are very powerful, we have seen the devastation that conventional bombs can wreak in combat. Only 2 nuclear weapons have ever been used
In anger. Maybe instead we could try to ban conventional bombs since those are the ones actually killing people and not hypothetical threats?

Weddings are expensive and many people save and plan and dream much their lives. Children tend to be unpredictable and loud. So imagine as the room goes silent and you stare into your future "forevers" eyes to say deep words from your soul- crying, screaming, fidgeting. On the other hand maybe it just isn't a "kid friendly" wedding. Maybe YOUR kids are great but how do I let you bring your kids and tell "those other parents" with brats to leave the terrors at home? And weddings ARE EXPENSIVE. I invite Jill who is awesome, but I have to invite her fiance Bob I've met a couple times and don't really like. Most adults will be couples or dates doubling plates at $30/50/100ea what if you have 1 kid but Bob has 4? I'm paying for their whole family to eat and party and all I wanted was Jill to be there. That's a bigger venue, more charge for seating and center pieces and favors, catering, the bar, wait staff, everything gets scaled up. You're increasing expense by magnitudes. So that's why.
