When I first saw "pubic hair" as a kid, I read it as "public hair" and was so confused. For several days, I kept wondering why people grow public hair on their private parts. Did it then make those parts public? I was a bit of a recluse as a child, wouldn't ask anyone any questions, so this kept me confused for quite a while.
