I know a Gary Delainey. Does this Gary live in Alberta Canada? And possibly wrote for a comic strip?

I can't express to you the level of nostalgia I feel right now. I too had one of these safes and I kept it! As an adult, I still have mine. The sound of the door creaking open is so good! Ugh thank you for this post!
