The video isn't stupid. The man says "You can drink a glass, it won't hurt you.". It's very clear to me.

Did you here about this story with the Prince of Sahoudi Arabia. Here is an extract of an article from Yahoo News (as I can't put the link):
Abdullah was then only the crown prince, and Queen Elizabeth decided to have a little fun with him. She offered him a tour of the Balmoral grounds and, to his surprise, jumped into the driver’s seat of one of the “royal Land Rovers” to give the tour herself.
“Women are not — yet — allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia, and Abdullah was not used to being driven by a woman, let alone a queen,” Cowper-Coles wrote. “His nervousness only increased as the Queen, an Army driver in wartime, accelerated the Land Rover along the narrow Scottish estate roads, talking all the time. Through his interpreter, the crown prince implored the Queen to slow down and concentrate on the road ahead.”

As a Christian I feel ashamed when so-called Christians demonstrate in the streets against gay mariage.
But I feel even more ashamed when some Frenches mistake Islam and fundamentalism or when some political parties use that kind of tragedy to draw some frighten ignorants! Religion and violence don't go hand to hand. ALL religions are suppose to help people live peacefully together. Let's not forget they're the main basis of morality, still.

Of course, they'll make "surgical strikes", like in Middle East, and obviously won't kill innocent people. We all know it's true...

I love how America love to boast of its FREEDOM, but people aren't able to mind their own business and let other people live freely...

Definitely a question of mentality. Some people don't understand or agree with the principle of solidarity. The government hasn't more control over you in socialist countries. Socialism doesn't mean USSR. You might be less free to act as you want, only if it is in the general interest, which is a fundamental notion in this kind system. Personally I prefer to earn less money so that everyone can benefit from a really good healthcare, no matter who you are.
However, Finland system (as other Nordic systems is admired in a lot of European countries) can't be reproduce because of the low number of inhabitant (as you said atomiczombie757) and the cultural homogeneity.

Surrender is not always the worst decision. Sometimes it can save more lifes than an open war.

Modern feminism is not women thinking that men are pigs and rape instructors! Don't let yourself being influenced by those posts. They don't reflect the main opinion of women or feminists.
But, of course!, gender equality means to get paid the same for the same job because the problem doesn't concern job in labor but tertiary sector, service industry. Men and women provide the exact same work but women are less paid than men and you find this inequality in every grade! It's not acceptable in the XIXth century! (I think there is a difference in job in labor because workers might be paid according to their output, which is understandable).

He is not THE guy who made a massive leap in a space discovery, he is one of those who work on the project which is noticeably different.
Unless being stupid, people can't (or they shouldn't) just remember the T-shirt thing. I assume we all know that he is a part of an unprecedented space project.
Nevertheless, we have to point out that his shirt is disrespectful for women not him. I'm not saying he did it on purpose. It's not the man that we should blame but the behavior. The situation could have been the same with a woman and raise the same controversy.
And when I'm saying to compare things that you can compare I mean that sexy clothes can't be compared with disrespectful ones.

She's not wearing a shirt with naked men or that kind of thing. If you want to compare do it well.
