That's an awesome quote (if it's even real) but he also said that he won't lift the ban on female priests, so he's not all goodwill and sunshine...

I'm guessing that guest is just not a native speaker. I kinda know what they mean, though, and they actually don't raise a bad point...

Unfortunately, that won't happen. Demografically, Trump voters are more likely to be old (retired) people rather than other candidate voters/non-voters. So yes, that war WOULD be fought by "fruit cakes" (I'm guessing that's a slur for gay people?), because Trump voters would be sitting at home in front of their TV, proudly waving the flag while sipping beer bought with state money while the "stupid libtard fruit cakes" would be fighting for a ruler they oppose.
Don't get me wrong though, the situation would be equally bad if Clinton won, only it'd be Trumpets rioting/crying and Hillary supporters laughing at them, the exact opposite of what it is now.

When I was in 2nd grade elementary school, we went outside to play because it was snowing. A classmate had this flat plastic snow sled thing. But it's not that he'd use it for actually sliding down the hill! He decided to throw it at me for some reason (he was a very, very slow kid, borderline mentally underdeveloped, so maybe that's why). I had to get stitches and I still have cute little a scar on my lip, and I count myself very lucky because if that thing didn't hit my lip but for example an eye, it might've blinded me in that eye.

If I was a thief I'd totally steal books though. Especially college textbooks, and I'd copy them and put them online for all the poor students.

Going to a nightclub to have fun with friends is okay. Going to the nightclub alone with the sole purpose of hooking up with a stranger may lead to big problems.

Well, you definitely shouldn't comb your hair when it's wet. It breaks and tears your hair. As for the twisting, I don't know. It seems safer to gently twist your hair than for example put it in a ponytail cause the band can break your hair a bit. And it's definitely better than blow-drying because the heat and air current fuck your hair up a lot, apparently.

(Different guest here) @guest At age 2, 3 or even 4, yeah throwing a fit is kinda normal. At age 8, however, it indicates either bad parenting (which is probably this case) or mental underdevelopment of the child's brain (which might also be the case here along with bad parenting but we might never know).
As far as personal stories are concerned, my parents always say I was a very calm and nice kid, and I still try to keep my cool in stressful situation and it never happened that I'd snap. So take your lecture elsewhere, I know where I stand.
Although I have to admit that this guy's "revenge" was probably worse for the cashier than the bratty kid and its dumbass mom.

I bet you're one of these people who get mad when everyone doesn't automatically speak English in a foreign country, aren'tcha?

(Yes I get the point of the post, but saying over 20 just sounds sketchy and all.)

Idk to me it seems that some mysterious person is giving her a flower & killing him. Because her hand would be in an unnatural position of it was actually her holding the flower.

Funny, I suggested this exact same thing a while back on this very website and got called a "fascist pig" for "wanting to take away people's right to vote".
Anyway yes, I agree, but here I suggested a medical test because
a) the chance it will be rigged/biased is smaller because it's just about biological facts and brain activity,
b) people who are totally clueless about politics but desperately want to vote because they're so sure their opinion is right even though they know nothing sbout the topic (aka about a half of the population or more) would protest a knowledge test, not so much a medical test.

The point is you can trust an 80 year old's judgment about as much as one of a 16 year old, because the human brain slows down and gets stuff mixed up when you get old, even if that person doesn't have dementia. The fact that this happens completely annuls the experience factor, which is why we should be careful with letting old people vote. Maybe only if they pass a medical examination that would test their ability to think clearly and decisionmaking?

So, ever since I saw the photo I was always wondering, is the white curly party dog really like that? Because it really looks like they photoshopped human eyes onto it, you usually can't see the white of dogs' eyes.

I think the point in many sci-fi pieces is that aliens have achieved such a high level of technological and sociological/political advancement that they are united, unlike humans.

That's awesome. I always thought animals have a more auditive memory/response to commands. But I guess it makes sense that they watch gestures, after all we often open our hand when say "paw" and do a downwards motion for "sit" or "lie down" command without realizing it. I even taught my grandma's dog to put her paws up at a gun-like gesture and I don't even have to say "hands up" anymore. Then again the dog only does it when she knows there's food to be given, that little clever bastard.
