I remember smoking in airplanes, the top of the cabin was visible yellow from the smoke, and also people standing in the aisles of the smoking section to smoke when the fasten seatbelt sign would turn off.

I don’t think they are prone to exploding, considering they are all over American neighborhoods, “WOW did you catch the local news? Another 5 transformer boxes blow up” Said no one ever. No, they don’t explode. I don’t know about electrocuting people either, not hearing much about those in the news, considering the boxes are literally on the ground, thus, ‘grounded’.
I’m not an expert, just a causal observer of life and society.
