I'm assuming you mean the wifi goes out when the phone rings, tell them (or do it yourself) to change the channel of the wireless. Its on the same frequency as their phone which is why its interrupting the wireless signal.

Its one thing if you repost something funny from weeks ago that many people may have missed or forgotten. Its something else to repost something from the day before, or more likely from hours before....then its just annoying. I don't need to see the same dam thing 3 times while scrolling through what i missed from the day before.

A parent is much more likely to just give a kinder egg to a small child and leave them unsupervised, especially if they don't know what it is and that it has a small toy inside. As to your gun logic, yes because there definitely aren't shootings in "safe" gun controlled countries, right? And nobody ever kills anybody with something OTHER than a gun, right? And if guns were banned, criminals would all listen and give up their guns too, right? Definitely wouldn't just be taking guns out of the honest citizens, thats for sure.

Not really, while its true storm troopers are all "bad" and clone troopers were at one time "good" they all, at all points in time, served Palpatine. In fact, there could still have been clones AS storm troopers in ep 4-6. They would be pretty old, but its possible. In that case they WOULD be in the same timeline and not enemies

Well for 1, when a 10 year old and an adult tell you conflicting stories, who do you believe is telling the truth? The adult of course.
For 2, money is a pretty sensitive subject to most people, especially the lack of it. If you were poor and barely able to take care of your kids and thus didn't get them much for Christmas, would you really like it pointed out that you can barely take care of your kids? That its being pointed out by the kids themselves makes it even worse in my opinion.
For 3 @ daxto, if you were 6 years old, can you honestly say with 100% certainty that what you remember is right? This goes back to point 1 about believing the adult first, but its much more likely that you are mis-remembering what actually happened. Its easy when thinking back to focus on 1 or 2 things and neglect the rest of the picture, the longer it is you are thinking back the easier it is to get distorted and exaggerated.

First of all, I'd agree on the "average person from X continent knows next to nothing about the layout of continent Y" I would even go so far as to say most above average people wouldn't notice a variance such as this. Can any of you non-Americans honestly say if I showed you a map of the US and swapped the names of two states you would be able to pick it out? Unless you happen to have visited there, the chances of it are EXTREMELY unlikely.
As to the "maps are made by cartographers" bit, what makes you think an actual cartographer made this map? I can with 99% surety say this was just given to an intern and told "hey were doing a piece on this, get us a map for it, make sure its not copyrighted" so the intern did it him/herself based on what they thought they knew. Also, how would you know it was an American cartographer that made it? Just because an American news reporter used it doesn't mean it wasn't foreign made.

Oh you mean don't be that person begging another person for their homework so they can just copy it because they couldn't get off their ass and do their own work?
Yes I agree, don't be that person.

Coming from a guy, i don't really see how a girl doing that to me would ever be "creepy" I may not end up liking the girl and nothing may ever come of it, but the same could be said the other way. If anything I'd assume more girls would be creeped out by the guy doing it.

told they should probably just let it heal on its own as surgery can make it heal faster, but they'd have a metal plate in their shoulder which can sometimes cause problems. Person A chooses to let it heal on its own and goes home with a sling and told not to move it. Person B, since they have no insurance, goes straight to the ER (because its free, plus their is no waiting around for them) they get seen to, get the same X Rays, and are then told the same answers. Either have surgery or let it heal on its own. They elect to have surgery even though its normally more expensive, end up going through a few months of physical therapy afterwards (Person A decided not to do PT because it wasn't covered on their insurance and thus they'd have been paying even more).
After all is said and done, person A gets a bill for about $4,000. Person B however.....pays about $100 out of pocket.....THIS is what so much of our tax dollars goes to. Hard to believe people don't want taxes even higher, eh?

As to the "free" healthcare bit. Let me just give you a little example. Person A has a good job, they make $50,000 a year, have insurance, have a mortgage, bills, etc. Wife, 2 kids, the typical Middle class American. Now we have person B, this person doesn't work at all, her husband works on and off on small jobs, but nothing permanent, has a brand new car, lives in a house about the same size as person A, yet its "low income" housing so they pay under 100 bucks a month for it, free utilities, free food through WIC/food stamps, has 6 kids (you know for the benefits from the government, its more profitable to have another kid than get a job, and since neither of them work there is plenty of time for making another baby!).
Now, person A and person B both break their collar bones at about the same time (completely different accidents, but same injury and time of year) Person A goes to the hospital because they have insurance, they are treated, given a bit of pain medication and told

Just want to point out some inconsistencies in what you said. You can't imagine the American government pulling a "Germany" because its such a developed country....uh do you think Germany was a 3rd world country 60 years ago or something? "other nations would step in"....hm kinda like the other nations of the world eventually stepped in for WW2? Hitler was so charismatic, he rose to leader of the country and most of the public wouldnt want to stop him with guns...hmm that doesn't sound like any leader today right? A charismatic leader that wants change and everything they do is best for the Ameri...I mean German people. They might have changed their minds after war started but it was too late....let me emphasize that bit IT WAS TOO LATE.......Do you really not understand why some Americans have serious problems with this?

(missed the 4th) if you had lunch 3 periods ago, your classes are only like a frickin half hour long, its really not that hard to hold it and go between classes. 6th, "2 people quietly talking" is never just "quietly" talking for one, everybody around them hears them and even if they don't want to, pay some attention to it meaning less attention to what the teacher is saying. It also turns from 2 people quietly talking, to 2 groups of 2 people quietly talking, etc. You can't just let 1 little group do it or the rest think they can too. And lastly, its disrespectful, you are saying that your little conversation is more important than what the teacher is talking about because you are no longer listening to what they have to say, you are focusing on what your friend is discussing.
7th-10th I'd agree that those are annoying.

Going to rant about these for a minute. For the first one, I have no problem with it. Coming in late is annoying, if I was a teacher I wouldn't put up with it either. As is packing up and getting ready to go before class is actually over. If I'm making the effort to finish teaching something, the kids should be making an effort to finish listening to me. For the 2nd, that one actually does bug me. If a teacher is going to give out so much homework, they need to think ahead to how much grading its going to require in turn. 3rd, they are trying to teach you proper English, deal with it. 4th, meh, lot of teachers eat in their classrooms and most will let you have a water bottle. You getting up and leaving the room for a drink (along with half a dozen of your classmates throughout the period) is disturbing. Especially if they are going over something important, they basically have to wait for you to get back or end up retelling the entire thing to you again.

The dog doesn't even look underweight or anything. Most people that "neglect" their pets forget to feed them too. Should probably get all the facts before doing things like calling animal services.

Is that supposed to be cantankerous? cancerous would be having to deal with cancer, while cantankerous means bad tempered....as to the "neglect" unless you watch them 24 hours a day, you have absolutely no idea whether they talk to/play/feed/let inside/etc. There are lots of people that don't let their dogs inside their house, doesn't mean they neglect them by any means. Maybe the person works nights so they play with the dog during the day while you are at work. Lot of people also view things like dog treats as bad. Same as some parents won't let their kids eat any candy or chocolate or whatever, how would you feel if you were one of those parents and you turned around and looked back to see that some asshat had given your kid a big bar of chocolate. How worse would it be if they happened to be allergic to an ingredient and you killed them with your "good deed"? I know there is a lot of animal abuse out there in the world, but personally this doesn't look like it at all.

its not that they actually "recommend" any 1 brand, its that the people doing the surveys say things like "would you recommend colgate extra white super plus whitening plaque or never brushing your teeth at all?" of course the doctor is going to say yes.

Also interesting corn picture.....kinda funny how the "organic" one is bigger than the GMO one.....you know, since they definitely havent been refining and working on making corn/kernels bigger plumper and more feed.....its almost as if the organic one isn't even really organic, or they got swapped....

Oh I'm sorry, did an American study about an American toy using an average American girl bother you? Get off your high horse and shut the hell up. Get tired of seeing this "oh Americans are so self centered" BS. Ya, we like ourselves. Ya, we talk about ourselves. It just so happens that a lot of the places we talk about ourselves happen to have people from other countries on them. If I went to some Chinese website where everything was in Chinese and everybody was talking and just assumed something because thats how Chinese people do it, should I get mad at them for not thinking of every other country and including them?
As to the actual post, I think the whole Barbie thing is ridiculous, its a doll. There are plenty others just like it that don't receive all the negativity Barbie does, and there are plenty of boy "dolls" with unreal expectations too.

Agree with J. I've already heard from many families that the "free" healthcare they went to get is way over their budgets and they just aren't going to get it, can't afford to. Course that means they get penalty taxed for not having it, but what can you do. And many of my friends that already HAD good insurance...you know, insurance that was supposed to be good enough for obamacare....ya they all got cancellation notices, going to have to resign up for insurance next year, at increased rates of course, for "obamacare certified" insurance. Its all a big scam
he could just do that though... 10 comments

Its pretty vague to just start out on 37 though. I mean is 37 the first thing you may not know meaning he literally doesn't know what order numbers go in to count? or were there 36 other things and and he can't "count" how many things you may not know about him. His next comment is 38, implying he does know the order making it the latter option, yet the last comment is 42, implying he doesn't know the order making the former more likely.

To be fair. You never know what a robber is going to have with him or be able to do. You don't know if he's a karate black belt, you don't know if he has a gun on him, etc. The reason the policy is "just give it up" is because if he didn't and fought back, such as this case, and the robber beat the shit out of him, or shot him, or whatever, now the company is liable for the employee. So rather than lose the hundred bucks in the register, they are now liable for thousands in hospital bills, lawsuits, etc. There is also the off chance the robber would be injured and end up suing (yes this happens) causing more lawsuit bills

Have to agree with wcasg. I've seen many teachers be corrected, and corrected some myself. Its completely about how you do it. If your a little shit about it, its gonna come off as bad, if you are just being helpful, they are just gonna see it as you being helpful. Wouldn't really agree with how the principal handled wording it, unless he DIDNT and the kid is just paraphrasing how they interpreted the final outcome.....but a kid wouldn't do that to make himself come off better than a teacher and principal right?....never
