This analogy gets even better because Belle's father, the inventor, must have invented toaster strudel! (:

The best mcgonnagal moment 13 comments

Me too! McGonnagal was always my favorite professor, as she believed in bravery and hard work and following the rules. But when someone broke the rules in order to do the right thing, she recognized the true bravery in that as well. Yet she still made the students realize that their actions have consequences- both good and bad. And she's pretty bad ass. I feel that she represents the best aspects of being a Gryffindor.

I remember this being posted a few months back, but the message is still nice. While you may have failed in your original purpose, someone else may view what you have done as an incredible feat. You feel like you have failed, and thus you cannot see the true success of what followed. But if you would stop focusing on what you perceive as failure and turn around, you would see the artwork your accumulation of "failures" has created.

I didn't know this was from Mother 3, but I did think that this reminded me of Earthbound.

I loved this song when it first came out. Not gonna lie. But then, I couldn't walk my grandmother's sister's nephew-in law's cat without hearing it EVERYWHERE.

One of my good friends does this all the time. She says "They should get the message!" I just think that's not being very mature in a relationship.

It's not even that they give trophies to everyone. That's fine. But oftentimes the winners are discouraged from celebrating, as that would take away from those who didn't win... I mean, are we really such a culture that everyone has to be equal, and those who prosper are shamed?

Well, not exactly 50% oxygen. There's some hydrogen and nitrogen and carbon dioxide probably mixed in there as well.

I love the look of nail polish, but for some odd reason I just can't stand having the stuff actually on my nails. It slightly weighs my nails down, which bugs me. And I get annoyed if any of them chip at all, and up up taking off ALL of the nail polish even if I didn't need to.

Innocent is Giselle, as the other guest said- from enchanted. And fighter is Kida, the princess/queen from the movie Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Aw but that's no fun. OR you could just think of it as your life thus far has only been the introduction part of the story where you meet the character and the get to know them. And the reason why your life has been boring so far is just so when your adventure/ journey really starts we see how that affects you, and you know, the best heroes come from places you wouldn't expect.

Sometimes I like to upvote someone with a few downvotes if I feel the poor bastard doesn't deserve it. Because we've all been in that position before.

You can tell how big your bones are by looking at the wrist. I have really thin wrists, and thus I do have thinner bones than my friends. And it actually sucks because I have broken a few bones before.

I don't see why they had to write a book. I feel like this is just a natural skill almost everyone is born with.
