It's true that our lives have technically become better because of the aforementioned reasons, but has our standard of living truly improved? Life in first world countries can be difficult as well, especially for those living in poverty. Governments may not necessarily be 'better', just better at hiding their lies. Not to mention stress has contributed to declining psychological health. I'm not saying what guest #1 is wrong, but there are pros and cons to everything.

LOL the Chinese meaning is so far from the English meaning. For those who want to know, in Chinese the words say 'I treat you like treasure, you treat me like sea grass'. But I like potatoes~
