We had a tree that dropped those above our trampoline. We had a "no shoes" rule for the trampoline. Not a good combination.

Are those two guys behind him pushing the steward/stewardess call button? "Sorry it took so long, I had to wait for the drinks tray to pass before I could come. How may I help you?" "Oh, it's nothing serious, it's just that the plane is on fire. Could you do something about that?"

I hope I'm never that author. Last time I rewrote something, I accidentally killed the main character and traumatized his brother.

The list is in anachronistic order because that was most likely the order that the poster found those stories in. The "sanctity of marriage" thing is about changing the word, not the union. Those "marriages" wouldn't fit the definition of marriage either.

Don't forget the rest of that quote!
"Another sentence exists, another series of words, that could heal you. "
Yay! :) See, it's actually all happy and-
"If you're lucky you will get the second, but you can be certain of getting the first."
-oh. Nevermind. :(

I remember when this happened. That girl who pulled her down had committed quite a few other unsportsmanlike (unsportswomenlike?) acts in that game. The news reported more on her actions than on who actually won or lost.

Oh, you're gonna start on Stormtroopers being terrible shots? Have you not seen the atrocious aim of Cybermen, Daleks, and pretty much anyone with a projectile or energy weapon when the rule of plot and drama doesn't demand that they tragically injure a minor character? I will admit, though, you've got the advantage in numbers, brains, and tech.

Ah, so it's probably a sex thing, then? But still, how does that correlate to difficulty being a mummy? Does the Reverse Cowgirl have something to do with wrapping yourself in toilet paper?

This one has stumped me. Either this story is spoofing those "a waiter/waitress was hitting on my boyfriend/girlfriend" stories on NotAlwaysWorking and the "too many things wrong with it" are all the spelling and grammar mistakes, or it's a true story and the "too many things wrong with it" are the ages of the boyfriend and girlfriend and the behavior of the waitress. I can't tell.

I remember seeing this several years ago on Snopes. Went back to verify, and it's still there. The pictures are from a gas line that ruptured from corrosion, not digging. Real pictures, false description. (Still, though, you should call the company before you start digging.)

Not quite. Christians aren't saying "gay relationships should be banned," they're saying "leave the definition of 'marriage' alone so it can keep its sacredness to us." So, really, claiming that same-sex couples shouldn't use the word marriage to define their relationship is like being angry at someone for eating a doughnut but claiming that they're on the same diet as you.

Additionally, it doesn't work on all surfaces. You could hoverboard on specially-prepared areas, though. Now, there's an idea...something like a skate rink, but for hoverboards...would probably be quite lucrative...hmm...*runs off to learn how to start a business*

I would steal my sisters' and make necklaces and chains and webs and patterns with them. I never had them in my hair snapping against my skull (I'm a guy, so I wasn't exactly into accessorizing my hair), but I got my knuckles thwacked plenty of times. Still, they were fun. Like elastic K'nex!

No, you can turn gay. Something else can't make you gay, but you can decide on your own to be gay. Yes, you can also be born gay, but I've personally known two people and know other people that know people who decided, "hey, this gay thing is getting pretty popular, I'll try it for attention," and then realized they could make their pretending real and actually, genuinely, change their preference to be for the same sex. Just because some are born gay doesn't mean that others can't decide to be gay.
(Also, side note: turning gay because you understand women is ridiculous. That is all.)
