Yes hunting can be cruel, but at least most hunters try to aim for the head. Farming is normally brutal to say the least, if you don't believe me look up factory farming. If I remember correctly it makes up 60% of all store bought meat in America.

Ok this post isn't saying that it's bad for police to use their guns but sometimes cops have been seen firing on instinct when there wasn't really a reason to do so which results in unlawful deaths, and so this canadian officer is an example of how violence isn't always the answer. Not never, but not always either. Also, the military faces extremely different intense threats and are placed in more stressful circumstances than the average policeman so to compare them doesn't really make sense js

When a hunter shoots a deer for example, the deer had a good life. It doesn't suspect anything and it is dead before it even realizes anything is happening at all.
The meat in the supermarket comes from animals that lived a very short life in a cramped building. They've probably never been outside!
THOSE are the animals that live (and die, because being driven to the slaughterhouse for hours is quite stressful AND sometimes the animals are not really dead before they are being cut into pieces) in fear and extreme pain!

I mean, on the one hand, eating right and working out is important if you want to not feel like you're falling apart when you get older. But that's everybody's personal choice anyway. But really it depends on whether you were/are really morbidly obese or just a bit chubby, some people confuse healthy chub with unhealthy obesity. I mean, models, who are supposed to be the pinnacle of human beauty, are often required to be on terrible, borderline starvation regimes. And this extreme perpetuation of these twisted ideals, I mean models like this are on every ad, every magazine cover, every billboard, often makes people get the wrong idea about what healthy weight really is. Chances are, if you were/are just a bit chubby, that you were a lot healthier than her.
But anyway on the other hand she shouldn't have been such a bitch about it. As I said, it's everybody's personal choice.

4. How can I judge the hell out of him/her/it without being hypocritical?
