Dude, when you talk about taking firearms from responsible law abiding citizens to attempt to keep them out of the hands of people who don't obey the law anyway, you ARE trying to take away their rights. When you want to tax people to pay for others' college or medical insurance or housing or "basic income," you ARE promoting socialism.
