If population rates keep going the way they are, im gonna say that in 2050 the average person will look like a 30 year old Asian man

Never talk shit about Peeta Melark. 14 comments

I love it, everyone on the internet is so fiercely protective of fictional characters.
"Heard you were talking shit!"
Like some sort of badass.
But we all know that if you were outside (gasp)
And heard someone talking shit, you'd say nothing, stare at the floor, and go home to bitch about it on tumblr.

They did not play soccer.

We do a 2 minutes silence on remembrance sunday. The whole country practically shuts down. Radio stations do it. Tv channels do it. Cars even pull off the road. Those who gave their lives for ours, must always be remembered.

Sorry, old phone. Can't reply directly!
Its not just boil water, add tea. Its a science.
Here's how you make good English tea. A builders brew, as it is known.
1. Water should NOT be boiling, boil the kettle and leave it a few minutes.
2. Add your tea bag, and sugar as you like.
3. Pour hot water in. Stir strongly, but not for too long. (Over agitation, especially squeezing, release tannins that will add a dry aftertaste. Also found in red wine).
4. Leave to brew. Between 30 secs and 3 minutes depending on taste. Any more and it will stew. (I go for about 80 seconds.)
5. Squeeze tea bag against side of mug. Once. Firmly but not strongly.
6. Ditch bag, add milk, stir, drink that beautiful brew.
Try and see, its the mutts nuts.
Teapots are a whole different story.

Marmite is a strange and unholy pure black yeast paste.
My best friend has it on toast, I can't be near him at breakfast.

Planet Earth was David Attenborough.
As a 26 year old English man I can say all of these are true. Especially the girlfriend not being able to make a decent brew.
Its a deal breaker.

'The secret technique he used'
He just put stones together to make something capable of holding weight. The same as every bridge ever.

I'm referring to "feels" posts, when other users say they cry 8 comments

Over react!
Jesus, I have never cried or even slowed down when scrolling past a 'feels' post.
Perhaps some people need to grow up.
I think a lot of them say they cry because they want to fit in.

You cried watching a video of MJ?
Fuck sake. He was good, but he's not a god. I don't see why people treat him with such reverence.
Plus the whole sleeping with children thing.

What our bodies were created for 18 comments

Wrong.
Humans are an entirely mental race.
Our number one evolutionary trait is our social development and tool making.
Our bodies are terribly designed for hunting anything and even at our most incredibly physically fit state, walking 40 miles a day is a huge stretch.
Roman legions (who's marching capabilities won them an empire for over 1000 years) walked on average 30 miles a day.
Knowledge.
Boom.
