My cat is vegan and is perfectly happy - and has been for 3 years. The people this article were referring to were just stupid - as they only gave their cat potatoes, rice milk and pasta (not formulated food that has all the essential vitamins a cat needs) and before anyone says he is unhealthy I regularly take him to the vet (who says he is one of the healthiest cats he has seen in a while)
Also for the ignorant people that think babies need milk to live, yes they do .... HUMAN breast milk, not cow milk. Which is what people have been doing for thousands of years. There has been no scientific fact that proves a baby needs cow juice to survive - in fact many doctors and nurses try and get new mothers to breast feed, instead if use formula.. Why do you think this is? Because EVERY nutrient they need until they are ready to be weaned naturally occurs in breast milk.
