@guest: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_opinion_on_climate_change has a bunch of references to studies on climate change. Five clicks from there is a "properly peer-reviewed, properly duplicated, properly confirmed, properly investigated" 1856 paper that "DEFINITIVELY and CAUSALLY links increased CO2 to planetary temperatures". If the scientific community could have falsified the greenhouse effect hypothesis in the last 150 years, it would have.

Actually human corpses are prone to spreading diseases, that’s why it’s historically so popular to burn dead bodies in pyres.

All this crap MIGHT have some degree of validity .. IF there was one, just one, properly peer-reviewed, properly duplicated, properly confirmed, properly investigated, study that DEFINITIVELY and CAUSALLY links increased CO2 to planetary temperatures.
There isn't. Hypothesis therefore falsified. "Catastrophic anthropogenic global warming" therefore revealed as the complete and utter bullSHIT marxist waffle that is is.
Drop the mike.

Here’s what needs to be understood though, doctors have a specific amount of time, typically, to see a patient. If the patient shows up, even if they show up late, the doctor is /required/ to give them their full appointment time. That delays every other patient afterward. The doctor is just following protocol. Even if a patient comes in an hour late, the doctor is /required/ to try and still squeeze them in. My mother is a doctor and I can’t tell you how many times she came late to pick me up as a kid because her entire schedule had been pushed back by some inconsiderate assholes who think the clock on the wall works for them. It usually isn’t the doctors that show up late.

Agreed. So, applying that rule, what should I do when I get a call from work on MY TIME, or if I stay a few minutes late to finish a task, and right before leaving see an email arrive titled "URGENT!!! Please read right away! EMERGENCY!!"?

flowers and blowjobs are not even in the same league. it's very healthy and necessary to verbally talk about ones desires in the sexual area because the wishes and turn-ons vary so immenselly between individuals. being able to ask for something in the bedroom and being indulged by your partner on the basis of mutual affection and respect is one of the nicest things one can have in life.
flowers however, are a different thing all together. we do not have to clearly communicate when and how we want to recieve flowers, other than pollen allergies, there are little to no circumstances where one wouldn't be able to enjoy flowers (while initiating a blowjob when one doesn't want to have sex might be largly unenjoyable so to speak) and you don't need one's permission to bring them flowers.
so, overall, do get people flowers spontaneously on way home from work but rethink giving people blowjobs in the spur of the moment on the way home, especially if you use public means of transportation.

I THINK this is sarcastic.
However, yeah, is peaceful. Male conversation is seen as not needing approval because it’s done by male. Female conversation - any female activity - is subject to doubt and needing justification for a lot of people. To the point that many females realize it young, although it takes a while to verbalize.
At first, you think it’s because males are having better, more valuable conversations. Then eventually the penny drops and you realize it’s because females get way more questions and requests to self-justify. So to avoid that, some girls spend lots of time with males. That way, they won’t have to account for just breathing. They get the sexism pass by proxy. Not being laughed at or shamed just for hanging out and living life should be the default for all humans, but it’s not.
IMO, this is the root cause for the anti-pink stance most people eventually grow out of.

...body? It is simply precarious of one to continue to persist in trying to seek redemption for a body when the body itself is actively encouraging and enforcing the participation of one or more incredibly dangerous or scarring activities that prove to provide significant harm.

I can kind of understand where guest_ has gone, but by the same token I simply disagree. If the culture itself demands that the practitioners tolerate and/or encourage a condemnable action, then one may denounce the culture for its responsibility in continuing said action. This, by no means, is to say that the culture in question has zero worth or is completely without its own moral code. However, by condoning the action and allowing it to persist despite its danger to the health of the human subjected to the action, the culture becomes responsible for the maiming of the very people who practice the culture. It no longer becomes an issue about the individual or the idea that perhaps the people are confused. It is a social norm, and thus is a part of the culture of the general population in that area. When that population can be said to be a part of that culture which holds a condemnable action, can we not hold the culture responsible for the crime of harm/mutilation of a human...
