Honestly the quickest way to fix the environment is nuke China. Obviously not the best way, but basically the only one that’ll actually work now. Might also have to nuke India to make sure. I honestly don’t see another possible solution, as those two countries are responsible for the majority of pollution, to the point that any regulation on the rest of the worlds end would be basically pointless.

army is ridiculous. i'm with purplepumpkin on this one. i'd just might add that there's still a lot of ridiculousness going on that has yet to go extinct.
i know we humans need the sense of purpose most than anything if we want any sort of a feeling of happiness and fulfillment in life but honestly, it could go some other, more productive, less insane way. forgive me but the whole romanticizing of armed forces and veterans and stuff that goes on in the usa ... p. insane. it's a bit similar to romanticizing mental ilness in my opinion except people aren't actually encouraged to become mentally ill, contrary to ... other things.

even if she is now a woman, the physical makeup of her body if still that of a man's. and considering that she is participating in a physical sport, shouldn't she be competing against other men?

(Not trying to be trans-phobic, just trying to understand...)
But shouldn't she be competing against males because that was what she was born as?

I took a couple years of French in high school, then a semester in college. I wasn't great at it, but could do the written assignments and spoken dialog things. Then I worked in a French speaking country for three years, and was miles (kilometers) ahead of the other Americans who were over there. It opened a lot of doors both in business and after hours (dealing with shopping, and also touring around which we did a lot). Once I had to start speaking the language, the practice filled in what I was missing from school.
Another thing in real conversation is the pace and vocabulary people use when they know you have limited language competence. If you watch a movie, the pace is too fast for beginners to get. And with liaison/elision in French, you have no chance as a beginner.
