Ever heard of "casual cosplay"? Just buy and coordinate clothes into outfits that look like your favorite characters outfits! Might cost less than actual cosplay. There's even tumblr blogs about casual cosplaying, tips, and where you can buy the clothes at. Look it up- if you haven't heard of it. :)
