only problem is that it'd require the wheels to be outside the vehicle instead of under it, which makes the vehicle wider, which makes it take up more space on a road and maybe not even fit in a lane.

as a guy, I'm afraid that I don't have an answer for you. I often wonder why other guys find it attractive as well. My guess would be that if you want to imagine yourself in the place of someone kissing a girl, two girls kissing gives you a choice of two people to see yourself in the place of instead of just one, but that's only a guess.
