Oh Lord. This is a whole luggage store of baggage to unpack. Just NO. In the name of good sense, no parades for people of either gender who act decently.

God loves violence, we are drops in the ocean of God and violence lives in our deepest hearts; it is a pure and decisive expression of love.

Science is not true whether you believe it or not, truth is true whether you believe it or not. Science just provides a good way to discover why things could be like they are. There are still flaws in the logic of the some of the most prevalent theories today.

We're talking global here. Like, the internet. And while English might be a very common online, there is no "official legal language". So don't get offended when we make minor mistakes while we try to communicate with you in your own but for us a foreign language.

I'd be more inclined to believe your comment then the hashtags. Marble, especially the size required for this sculpture, is heavy, hard to mine (a solid piece this large) and immensely hard and expensive to move. The time involved to sculpt it would not be valued at zero, so he may not have been thrilled with the material but it's not like he was all "Oh no, woe is me to have this million dollar (or whatever the equivalent for the time period was) slab of marble delivered to me, whatever shall I do?"

German here. That's not one word for all wondering. It's just a lot of german words put together. Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitänmützen could be a word but not one any sane person would ever use. We would rather say Kapitänsmützen der Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft.

Edison is a better bet for this question. He made most of his successes by trial and error, until the failures ruled out all the stuff that wouldn't work leaving only what would. Plus, a significant portion of his accomplishments happened to be...."appropriated" from others. People act like Bill Gares is a genius, but he was great at assembling a team of top software writers and "getting there first" with an OS that became the de facto standard. He offered Internet Explorer for free with Windows, which really undercut Netscape's market share because they charged some nominal price.

Ladies--This is the flip side of "nice guys" who feel like you owe them something because of their "niceness." This girl/woman is in the minority, but the type that really screws up everything for guys being "friends."

If you meant systemic failure (like schools, or prison, or criminal law, or systemic bribe-taking or caregiving matters), then okay, yes, we got issues. BUT most people unhappy like that are 100% aware that laws reflect the will of the people, past and present. They are not confused that the government somehow doesn’t reflect the goodness of citizens. Nope, that has never been the problem.
In all cases, the solution is to engage. The only people who I see consistently refusing are people who had their core ideas about how fair, just, or good this country is rocked or challenged by someone providing concrete examples to the contrary, and they DID NOT LIKE IT. They just want things to go back to sunshine and convenience. Little Lord Farkqards all over the place. “Some of you may die, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay.” I know this is a stupid rant but I’m viscerally opposed to people taking only the benefits of a representative government, solely when it works for them.

They are, though. Hating the government is passive. It’s a reasonable response to a monarchy or dictatorship, but not a republic. We have a representative form of government which means YOU have to paRTICIPATE. Washing your hands of this fuckery is a lie you tell yourself.
If the government is a problem you ‘hate’, either 1) you hate that it’s a mess or 2) hate that other people’s votes and opinions had the power to create laws you disagree with.
If it’s 1), yeah you do hate the country. Move to a country that doesn’t require any effort from its citizens to be successful. If it’s 2), you prolly spend a lot of time wishing you could help people different than you understand “real” reality and stop whining. So you hate the concept that things aren’t exactly what is convenient for you. In which case: you like the government locally but do hate most of the country. Stop being a whiny baby & DO THE WORK required to understand why other humans have reached alternate conclusions.

If a person is speaking before a large body politic, and does not care enough to make himself presentable in public . . . then the long and short is known of him. If a person's priorities are personal expression through purple hair, nose rings, multiple tattoos or generally unkempt and shabby appearances, then I am happy to have my disdain be labelled skewed.
