You people are commenting on something you haven't researched. The British helped keep this treasures and now they offer them up to enrich everyone. Why should their years of conservation be ignored because the people who created these statues 100s-1000s of years ago didn't live on the same island or piece of land?

The "free" healthcare you are referring to is actually being paid for by your taxes. Just because you are paying in a "fee for service" method doesn't mean you are paying for your healthcare. You just took away the choice you had and gave it to the government.

What you are saying is entirely irrelevant to the point made about not celebrating the war of 1812. Also it was the United Kingdom that did these things. Canada wasn't even a country because you were unable to get independence until decades later. There is a big difference between the UK doing something with all their power and wealth of the time and Canada doing something regardless if some of the soldiers lived in the same place where Canada is today...

You do realize that there is not a day where we celebrate the winning of the war of 1812....I think you are thinking about July 4th...when we won independence...in 1776.
P.s. Canada sucks.
