But we don't bleed, so we got that going for us. 45 comments

Right, so hi girlinwonderland, this is the guest who posted that giant mess. Anyway, I guess it must have come off as me trying to talk down female periods, but I'm really not going for that. It's obvious that a girl's period is more painful in the physical sense, since biological repercussions accompany your cycles (the detaching of the unfertilized egg and the blood needed to flush it out)
But in the end that's a biological function which relies on your hormone cycle for timing. But, if we want to talk direct effects of our hormone imbalances, a female cycle is much gentler on the body and psyche. Since you have a 7 day low point in a 28 day cycle, comparably guys have to undergo a peak and low in our testosterone in the span of a day, then the next and the next. Not just 7, 28, or even 365, but ever day of our lives. We don't get a 21 day stable period to recover... Also on the missed "man period", if that ever did happen, we would develop Parkinsons, not a baby. Cheers~
