Always know the Morse for SOS. Even if you don’t need it, you might be in a position to help someone that does

Yeah I know digital thermometers exist. That’s the point.
There’s digital devices of everything.
But if you’re stuck in the woods and you need to use a compass because your phone is flat, you better know how to use it
Using analogue technology is becoming less common but there may be a day when it’s necessary

Logical fallacy here.
To me, this is the equivalent of knowing how to read a thermometer. Usually you wouldn’t need to, and maybe it’ll also become obsolete, but if you need to do it and don’t know how, you’re screwed.

It’s about quality not quantity of learning.
Someone can spend three hours reading a textbook and not remember any of it.
These kids are getting direct, focused attention, unlike in a school

Give teachers everywhere disappointment.
Or, correct it with marker to make a teacher joke

Considering this is meant to be an overly indulgent spender, I’d think they’d have the more high end phones.
Yeah you can easily get a second hand phone or one that isn’t a major brand for under $500, but that’s not the point

What was she trying to do? Photocopy her phone screen? I mean, if the screen stayed on and they changed the scan settings, it might have worked

Do people forget what “net worth” for celebrities means??? It means it’s tied up in companies, in brands.
I’m sure they also donated money

I find it really interesting that men proposed the “woman vs tree” as a counterpoint.
Worst things that can happen to a woman: rape, murder, kidnapping, torture, etc
Worst things that can happen to a man: ignored, dismissed.
I find that really interesting.

Bringing a baby into a household that is unprepared/unwilling to raise that baby is the cruelest thing you can do to every person involved. Abortion rights are human rights
