That’s not the point. If a word is being used to bully/degrade/etc a group for years, or even decades, it gains that meaning, that definition. There are a lot of people who won’t break down crying if they’re called retarded, such as me (I am autistic)
But there are still people who find that it represents hate towards their very existence and thus we shouldn’t use it.
