There's a fair amount of subjunctive here... I'd place my bet on a coward reckoning there'd be less general drama in public...

Persons without a penis don't count in a true patriarchic society. It's based pretty much on the same concept as racist men claiming they couldn't be racist cause they would fuck women of another "race".

Ya, cause how would they possibly notice someone tearing a nicotine patch off their skin.,.. or the black square of gooey glue residue framing the irritated, itchy skin where it was placed... or the serious nausea and headaches a non-smoker gets from patching on such a thing...
.
People seem to believe literally anything as long as they can hate someone for it.

I'm sorry, but too many people mistake Twitter et.al. for real and relevant, and believe there's like a massive movement of idiocy, when in fact it's a handful of true idiots (yes, they exist and yes, they are strongly attracted by this type of platform) and a horde of trolls. That is because hardly any group of people can be fooled and triggered as easily as those who always see "triggered snowflakes" everywhere.
Fun facts about german, Pt. IV. (read til the end before trying to translate it) 12 comments

Even though they all translate as "why" and there's no defined semantic difference, they can be used to express different notions and motives. Not really that much in a written text, but mainly in conversations. And also there are slight differences in meaning in the first place. "Wozu" is mainly asked to find out for what purpose sth.is (to be) done, "weshalb" is more asking for the motivation behind it. "Wieso" usually expresses discontent with the question and/or the possible implications. Here's a link to a page where non-native speakers discuss this question:
https://deutsch-werden.de/de/wieso-warum-weshalb-weswegen-richtige-verwendung
It's one of those things that makes it hard for non-native speakers to blend in 100% as it's not completely explainable for most native-speakers as well.

That certain link is to a blog post, so they don't have sources there, like they have on other pages. In case you have a university account, you might look into this: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0924933814777314 - their study found about 1 in 6 child molesters is a pedophile as per the DSM-IV definition. Thjs is mentioned in the abstract.

Mia, an assessment is not a study, that's why I used that word. The article pretty clearly shows how a lot of child molesters are not pedophiles. I wasn't trying to contradict or even comment you.

Adam, you're done with logic and facts anyway, that's nothing new. You're welcome to ignore me.

It must take too strong an effort to arrive at such a level of ignorance to be really ignorant, so what are we talking about here? Look at the title: it says pedophiles are bad people. What I'm saying is that some pedophiles harm children, some don't. How can we not agree there's a difference between pedophiles who don't harm children (= pedophiles) and pedophiles who harm children (= child molesters)? This is not _just_ about words, cause words have meanings and consequences in real life.

You know it isn't, don't you, so what the fuck? Obviously my point is that a person should be charged for harming someone and not for having the wrong desire. A pedophile wants to have sex with a minor. Acting out on this is a crime, but not every pedophile is acting out on it. How hard is that?

To the person downvoting this ^^ within a minute: you're pretty heavily doing the blue pills, dude. How about reading the article I linked? I mean, I don't know what's driving you. If it's about accusing people and running around with digital torches and pitchforks, keep on doing what you're doing. Or you may try figuring out shit you don't know yet. Up to you.

While not all pedophiles molest children, not all chld molestors are even pedophiles. I've seen assessments that say that way more child molestors are NOT pedophiles.

The question is the sentence with the question mark at the end. In this case it was "What double standard?" and I asked because Piers Moron said exactly what he allegedly would be banned for. He wasn't banned. So, where is the double standard?

What double standard? He literally said what he said would get him banned, and he apparently addressed it to a white woman
