It's a loyalty test - will my supporters ignore reality for me? Very mean girl, very stupid. So: exactly as expected.

I don't mind incompetence as much as the insistence that the money I get out of my check go to stuff our society does not need, like parades and renovations, grift embezzlement and more excuses not to pay taxes, instead of to things we do need like functional agencies and food assistance.

More people need to do things. She did a thing and hears about it endlessly from people who didn't. They can all drown in a lake and she should ignore them all. Why would someone who's moving need to attend to rocks on the side of the road? I hope she's otherwise and generally living her life happily.

I used to thank them until I learned it annoys them. Now I only do it when it's performatively required so they can equally performatively respond.

I mean - there's principled stands based on internal values and then there's messing with people because being light minded is seen as a superpower instead of a deficiency that is inflicted on others. Importance of individual names and understanding history properly? High. Importance of renaming a geographic body of water? Low. Doesn't matter. They need to interact with more interesting people to feel alive. If they enjoyed their own company they would hang out together. Instead they spend all their time trying to get the rest of us to interact and care about them.

Toddlers knocking over towers built by adults always laugh. So do racists who make progress on removing people they could never compete with.

There's no way to teach taxes in a US school without radicalizing half the students. Fortunately it would never get that far as the worst parents you know and administrators would rather die than have that class exist.

Well, that is at a location of one of his strongholds so it's not surprising.

Okay. I've given it some thought and decided to engage. What is this exact problem with false accusations? I mentioned the enormous difference in statistical likelihood. I will jump the gun a little and say if your point is that any false claim invalidates the ability to trust statistics, two things. (1.) The whole point of gathering and viewing statistics is to get a true sense of representative reality. What is the most likely thing based on a big enough sample size to know? Trying to compare apples to apples - one claim against another - circumvents that entire issue and the net result inevitably is that a pebble invalidates a mountain. (2) If that is what you are saying, then my answer is the same: You believe in justice, as do I. You just don't like reality and want it to be very different than what it is. To be fair, I also am not a fan of reality. It's full of very unfun statistics.

To be fair, he didn't write any of his books. He always just wanted to be worth money and having monetized government through his weird groupie cult in addition to grifting, he doesn't need to pretend to be anything anymore.

Whether it produces colder air or more cold air is a distinction without a difference. I don't think it's a gender thing. I think he just doesn't have any male friends who roll their eyes at his insistence that "it's not colder air!" True story for me this month though: I, a grown adult, was told we don't need to turn the wireless mouse on and off in the conference room for meetings. It's not saving any battery. I was in the room with four other grown adults who also had been turning the mouse to 'off' after meetings. Most of us thought it was a policy, in our defense. Still, humans grasp "needs to sleep" way better than "saves the system from unnecessary effort and wear". We are creatures of habit and interventions to improve habits are not fun for either party but hopefully do result in improvement and a better time all around.

I'm just saying - you've done a lot of mental effort to remember one false accusation and air it here. But there are women who are hurt every day by individuals who hunt their own species - either through mass murder or SA. There's no question on the stats. But you remember this. You have a sense of justice. You just don't want it to be realistic.
