Dress codes are too strict. Don't dress like a sl*t and you'll be fine. 43 comments

dress codes need to be at least equal for the genders or it IS a civil liberties atrocity. certain things that are not clothing have no place in the dress code either, like haircuts and the like. i can see MAYBE restricting styling of the hair in obtrusive manners (what i am picturing here is like hair sprayed up in a way that it blocks views, like huge Mohawks or giant beehives), but the actual cut and color should not be dictated by schools.

yeah because it totally only happens when people are blackout drunk. and gosh you should expect it to happen when you are passed out like duh and thats definitely on you for being there and not a sign of any sort that theres a culture of any sort. and all those girls who purposefully drank a safe amount but got dosed anyways should know to just bring beers from home or just drink at home so they'd be safe. those women who are raped multiple times in their lives are just being unsafe its their own damn faults. robbing and raping are totally the same, you see men NEED sex the same way people who steal NEED money for the things they dont have in life. its not safe for women to be relaxed in public and they need to know that and take some responsibility for it omg.

like a great many charities locks of love charges based on income, so families that cannot afford it get it for free and ones that have more money simply get a reduced price. heres some more info to dispel a lot of the bad things people want to say about locks of love. http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/locksoflove.asp

this is how it is with all things... like, exercise is great right? but if you were a sludgy sloth before pregnancy you have to be super careful about exercising now because now it can harm the baby, whereas someone who was an athlete can continue to be athletic once preggo.

while i think its a little liberal with the term mass shooting, (only a few people need to be shot to be count, and it counts pretty much any injury and any type of shooting event) i am pretty sure the actual stats its using are correct... but theres is a misleading nature to it i feel.

"people rape so you shouldnt drink" <- this is an example of why we call it a rape culture. sadly, i for one have been forced to employ such a tactic, just not such a drastic one, don't drink with people you arent ok with sleeping with (or certain that you could win the fight in the morning when you decide to kill them for their transgression)

this is where we get into appropriate clothing for appropriate location. like if i see my coworker on the beach wearing a little man thong, i would shrug cuz its the beach, but when he wears shorts that ride up at work that let me see way too much of his inner thigh, its gross. personally i am for lessening of the sexualization of breasts and think we need to slowly work our way to women being topless in the same situations as men being okay. basically, if its a situation where a man shouldn't be topless, then neither should a women, but if its a situation where you wouldn't loose your shit about seeing a mans breast it shouldn't be a big deal if you see a womans breast. but then i also belong to the school of thought that if you took the taboo out of most nudity it would take a lot of the power from the people who seek to do harm in those areas in general.

plus since those are just "mass shootings" and not as necessarily 'senseless' and the number is "shot" not "dead". do not confuse me as condoning any of it, its merely the media appeal i am trying to explain here... many of them are things we expect and dismiss, gang shootings and the like, the media likes to latch onto the ones that feel more random and don't involve "thugs" because normal Americans tune in in the attitude of "THIS COULD EFFECT ME THAT COULD BE ME" instead of the normal blase "ugh if you don't wanna be involved in crime don't be around it" mentality. the media only cares about the ones that they think will leave you scared, not so much the numbers.

dude for real. add in the fact its got like two gallons of milk, a 35 pack of water, either a case of soda or a couple two liters, and normally something like a tub of detergent or a bag of shampoo bottles or something along those lines, in addition to all the other groceries.. ill just take the trips. though i admit to having to get all the nonfluid groceries in one trip.

no matter how you help people there will still be somone digging through the trash for recycling. sometimes they are not even homeless, there were a couple of older mentally challenged guys in my hometown who had places to stay and were fed but they still had elaborate bike set-ups to go around and collect cans for recycling. this is just a way to try to make it less gross for them. sometimes i think this is why people get tired of helping, because everything they do is put up on a pedestal of "not helping enough"

take responsibility for their actions. you know going in if that person is likely to sleep with you and if they weren't till after they got drunk what you are doing in wrong.
