The Brexit is overall a huge risk for the UK to take,if they are capable of doing their own trade policy the economic performance might go up...However the scenario that the performance goes down is much more likely,since the british would have to acces the internal market of the EU by themselves.Due to this insecurity among the populaion, the value of the british pound has already dropped by 8 %, since many people changed their savings into a safer currency.I think it is very likely that in addition to the GDP going down, asset prices will go down, and there will be shortage in the pension system.The main reason many peole support the Brexit is Patriotism (which I personally can't understand at all) and a tendency to "go back to the roots" Especially members of the elder generation,can often be heard talking about "the good old times" in interviews, many do unfortunately not understand the complexity of this problem.
