Yea but what would be the point of life on earth then? Christianity treaches that earthly life is preparation for the afterlife whether in heaven, hell or purgatory and it is your way of life that decides where you end up after you die. God gave us free will and this "system" wouldn't make sense without it. If we were all good it means we would be without sin and wouldn't know evil so you can say it would be literal heaven on earth, but what is the point of heaven if you don't do anything to earn your place in it.

I get what they're trying to say but why would it be an issue at all? When you have a drink with a straw it isn't as if you're going to take the straw with you and throw it in the nature somewhere. You're most likely going to leave your glass and the bar would be responsible for managing it afterwards. They could recycle but that isn't even a point in this argument- how the hell would you ordering a drink with a straw kill a turtle? What kills them is improper waste management and in this case it is not the fault of the customer.

If that happened to somebody else I would've laughed too lol. And I totally get what you mean, my mom is always worried about me oversleeping so she checks up on me if she thinks I'm running late (I would've missed so many things if she didn't, god bless her)

I did that for so long (setting 10 alarms and snoozing them all) and then recently I decided I was gonna change my bad habit and started putting my phone on my desk so I would have to get out from my bed to turn it off. It was going so well, but then a week ago I jumped out of bed to turn the alarm off and sprained my ankle really bad :/

When I was around 10 or 11 my grandma opend the bathroom door while I was in the bath (no coverage whatsoever, I hadn't filled it) so a guest could poke her head in and say hi to me. It haunts me to this day

@ title, I'm gonna give up sweets and eat less bakery stuff just because I've been eating too much sh*t lately and I want to loose some weight anyway. Plus it's easier not to give up when there's a heavier meaning behind the decision.

Square pizza is probably the most popular thing at the bakery next to my school. I don't eat it often but the best part is definitely the corner!
