Whatever noun you learn, learn it with its article right away. That's gonna ease finding the following grammar in the sentence.
Learn how to pronounce the alphabet, it will help you to understand pronounciation for long words.
Speak it, language comes from lingua, the tongue.
Don't give up, it's a pretty cool language.
If you need help, don't hesitate to ask, after almost 40 years I'm fluent :)

Well one of the Japanese originals is named "Godzillas son" and in this movie Godzilla acts pretty much like a mom. But as far as I remember, Godzilla is mostly referred as "he" in the originals.
