Is it racist to acknowledge a serious issue facing an group? Alcoholism is a huge issue in native communities.

Tranny fluid has been a commonly used term for quite a long time.

Why yes, both the NYT and WSJ published articles saying it was racist.

Eh, more like Europeans wish the US and the world were copies of them and the US doesn't think about Europe very much, if at all.

Yep, 4chan did it to show how gullible modern media outlets are. And rather than admit they messed up the media doubled down.

Probably a reference to the last name.

That does seem more likely. Much more likely than using something as large, slow, and obvious as a cruise ship for a covert operation.

I believe it is disputed. The cruise ship was is international waters making repairs to itself. Venezuela claims it was attempting to deliver commandos to stage a coup in Venezuela.

A Venezuelan patrol ship attempted to seize a cruise ship in international waters, ramming it during the process. Unfortunately for the Venezuelans, the cruise ship had a hull meant for breaking through ice and the patrol boat sunk itself.

Even better, most of the time it isn't a field but a flood plain. When I went it was was sand almost to the horizon where you could just make out the sea. It also has some of the highest tides in the world. A few times during the year, when conditions are right, it literally becomes an island, with the causeway out to it being completely submerged.

Went there a few months ago, just before the outbreak shut everything down. It is beautiful. The streets are almost alley like, narrow and winding up the mountain with shops on each side. It felt like stepping into another time.

Both are authoritarian regimes that demand complete subservience to the state. Sound pretty similar to me.

Except it didn't? Leading theories right now are that it came from either bats or pangolin, neither of which are livestock.
