Most children are addicted to attention. It's a survival instinct. It's only becomes a problem if you don't grow out of it. And yes I had the same thoughts as a kid XD.

It's not that we have a problem with people choosing to be vegetarian. What we have a problem with is when vegetarians and/or vegans attempt to force others to become vegetarian as well or act as though they are "better" than others. Also, I would find spider-patterned wrapping paper pretty cool. Mostly because it's not real spiders XD.

Except it's a centipede. Centipede's have venomous bites that are extremely painful. The largest one known to be alive today has a bite that can kill a human being.

Except that when joining the military you need to take a psych eval if you have a history of any past problems(which a true sociopath would.) So though you might have sociopaths that want to get into the military, the military itself won't allow them in, and those that DO sneak in most likely won't be able to complete basic training.

The problem I have with these wages statistics is that they are inherently skewed do to being a flat average. In other words, they took the average salary of EVERY white and compared it to the salary of EVERY black. This shows a wage gap not for reasons of discrimination, but instead for things such as the majority of each race working in different career areas, and the fact that whites tend to be better educated than their black counterparts (and yes it states this in the article you linked.) Now I am not saying that discrimination doesn't happen. It does. But not to the scale or amount that some people would like to think. In fact, I believe it is illegal to pay a white more than a black IF they have the same qualifications and are working the same job. (Sorry for the long post XD)

Then you add in their ability to change their size,shape,and color(allowing them to hide basically anywhere) and their high intelligence which allows them to build traps,solve puzzles/problems, and learn. XD

Until you realise that octopi can be even more venomous/poisonous then spiders. They also have beaks that have a very high bite strength.
