I consider people who don't remember 9/11 (at least here in the U.S.) to be a different generation.

61st Amendment. Evidently he was so popular, people wanted him and
Congress amended the constitution. While interesting, I'm curious what the other amendments are. They're pretty rare. In fact, throughout the entire history, we've only had 27. So what are Amendments 28-60 in the Demolition Man universe?

People act like this is some weird, new concept to photograph food. We have paintings of food. Some people look at food, think it's art and want to preserve it.

It is but education is a bit uneven. India is interesting in that some cities are completely first world, then just aways away from that city you'd swear it was a completely different country.
Japan also has mandatory English classes for students. They study the language pretty much throughout grade school. It's tough getting a language down when you only use it for one class in school. You really need to be immersed.

I remember this outraged. This was a billboard here in Utah. Yeah, that's one thing that people tend to forget about this. The original complaint was why anyone in Utah would need this. Was scrolling past the occasional minority on dating sites really that difficult for you?
For the uninitiated, Utah is almost 80% white and very mormon. A place where a site like Blackpeoplemeet and Jdate would make since, since different races and religions are a very small minority. White people, not too much. Japan, this place is not.
Then someone took the pic, deleted the located, threw a token black guy comment to the image defending it (Getting an "other" to defend your opinion makes people feel better.) and unleashed it upon the rest of the internet.

I don't even need the vest. Just be a brownie in Utah and people will assume you work there.

Captain America took place during WWII. The latest would be 1945. The song we hear in the hospital is "I'm Not in Love' which was released in 75. That's a 30 year span. Maybe she aged gracefully. Or was a really young Cap fan. It's a long stretch.

If you think what's happening in Venezuela can't happen elsewhere because "communism" you're being a bit naive. Venezuela's troubles comes from an authoritarian regime's over-reliance on a single export (oil). When oil prices plummeted, their economy collapsed. The government services doesn't help and corruption was wide-spread but it's really more of a lesson on why diversifying your exports is important and not depending on other countries for everything (Really, Venezuela imported food, clothes, medicine, it was pretty much export oil, import everything else). There's a reason why Saudi Arabia is looking for more to base its economy on than just oil exports. They see what's happening in Ven and want to avoid that at all costs.

Not sure why they changed this from the original "chainsaws". I find that funnier.

Actually, hearing an opposing viewpoint, even when accompanied by evidence, tends to make people even more devout in their views. Granted, that doesn't look to pretty up on a meme but science is rarely succinct or pretty.

Do you really want a doctor that attended something like University of Phoenix or just watch some videos on youtube? I get where you're coming from but that degree from college proves proficiency. Just having information available is of no use. Look how stupid most people are on the internet. How often does someone ask a question that could just as easily be answered if they typed it into google instead of Facebook or Twitter?

As someone who likes Daft Punk's "Around the World" sometimes music can be more than just the lyrics. Sometimes it can be about the music.
